Yes. It eats the catnip and lays around on the couch stoned out of its mind. Considering it shits in a box and doesn't pay rent, it's like having a college roommate instead of a pet.

Ah, yes, I've had that variety feline, too. He used to sleep IN the catnip plant we had in the garden. It ultimately grew into a "U" shape, with a cat-loaf shaped space parting the two sides.

I got the cat used on the second-hand market. Minor body damage already, pulls to the left. High mileage. Cheap price though.

That's the thing with these used high mileage ones, the maintenance costs increase over time. The urge is to trade it in for a newer model, but the heart wins and you keep the one you've got even though it sometimes breaks down and ocassionally leaks on the floor. :)

This one's pretty low-maintenance - it's like an ancient Volvo 240 or a Merc diesel. No leaks on the floor but due to suspension damage on the left front corner the handling and top speed have been impacted. I picked this one up because its owner was having compatibility issues between it and the other member of the fleet: a German of the type normally seen in law enforcement use.

OMG. I love when he/she dives into the box and 'splodges' out. Lol. I'm 35 (in three weeks anyway) and I live four miles from the Scottish border in England and I'd never heard of a Scottish Fold till a few year ago and only ever in Japan (occasionally but rarely in the U.S.) and never at all in Scotland. They look so cute.

I had three. Two were bought very young and one adopted us. All now gone I'm afraid. I miss the little gits sometimes. Tigger (the last one) died in a car accident, some stupid reason by the driver said he thought it was a pot hole (if it was a pot hole, why did you stop? cretin), I remember finishing work after a night shift, getting home and shouting at him (his body anyway) laying in the box for leaving the house (after the other two were put down for health reasons, he became a house cat and would only sit on the door step) and ever since I've felt crap for doing it as it was the last time I had with him before he was taken to church and cremated later that day.

I miss him. Enjoy the time you have with yours because when they go, a bit of you goes too.
